The Item Numbers Table hold the item umbers for each stock name/size/color. Every name/size/color has a unique number that your stock distributor uses to identify the combination. A 20# Bond, White, 8.5 x 11 has a different Item Number than a 20# Bond, White, 11 x 17. This is the table used to record those numbers so that they can be printed on the report that show the name color and size of stock you need to order. This should assist you when it's time for you to order the supplies.
In addition to assisting when you order your supplies, it also is used to locate the correct stock in you tables when you import prices from the pricing table you get from your distributor.
This button will take you to the form you use to define the stock you use. Select a line first then click this button.
Click this button to access the characteristics of the stock in a row you have selected. If the record for this selection has not been written yet it will start here and create one you can store the info in.
During the process of importing prices or importing stock the characteristics of the stock will be imported into this form if your distributor has supplied them and you have linked to them properly.
