Buttons:
Colors
Click here to add the standard colors that this stock is available in at the price listed under costs.
Lift
Click this button to specify the number of sheets which can be acted upon by certain bindery options such as cutting or drilling.
qFactors
Click this button for access to the quantity factor table. The quantity factor table is used for increasing the paper price for low volume jobs and decreasing price for high volume jobs.
Costs
Click here to set the costs of the different sizes of paper that you normally buy in this particular paper type.
Prices
This button displays the prices (your cost times the markup) you will charge for the various sizes that you buy. It is not interactive; it only displays.
Bindery
This button gives access to the Stock 2 Bindery table which allows you to price your bindery options based on stock type and size.
Presses
This button gives access to the Stock 2 Press table which allows you to price your press rates based on stock type and size.
Fields:
Display Sequence
The order in which the selection is displayed in the stock name drop down box.
Selection
The stock name whose information is displayed.
Color Multiple
This number gets multiplied by the price of the stock if the color specified for the job is not one of the standard colors in the colors list. Colors
If you place a 0 (zero) in here it means that this stock is NOT available in any colors except the ones specified in the colors list.
Minimum Charge
What the minimum charge is to the customer for ordering the stock.
Special Order
Whether or not the stock needs to be ordered.
Sheets Per Package
The number of sheets in one ream of paper. It is used to determine if there is an even number of reams in the job and alert the user if there isn't.
Parent Size
The standard paper size the stock comes in.
Paper Type Add/Select
Enables you to change which type the stock belongs to. Possibilities include paper grade, bond, coated, offset, index, etc.
To add a Paper Type; enter the new name into here instead of selecting a current one. It will be available from every other drop down where Type is selected.
Use qFactors
Use the quantity factor table, which can be accessed by clicking the qFactors button, for increasing paper price for small jobs and decreasing paper price for large jobs.
